Tacky Jacks

Tacky Jacks has transformed since its beginnings in the 1970s as a small marina in the fishing community of Orange Beach. Established in 1979 as Tacky Jacks Grill & Tavern, it quickly became a popular spot for locals and fishermen to relax after a day on the Gulf. In 1987, George Skipper purchased the restaurant, enhancing its appeal and success.

As Orange Beach grew into a vacation destination, Tacky Jacks expanded to three waterfront locations on the Alabama Gulf Coast: Tacky Jacks Fort Morgan in 2005 and Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores in 2011. Both locations continue the tradition of easy access “By land or sea.”

Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Tacky Jacks emphasizes casual dining with stunning views, making it a favorite among both visitors and locals. The brand represents quality, value, and community spirit, inviting everyone to enjoy a memorable dining experience.
